I’D BE JEALOUS…

…If I didn’t have one of these. Seriously, something as simple as a long ass iPhone charger can do wonders for conveniency. I can now charge my phone as I lay on my bed. :) This is an official Apple charger, not sold to the public. Special thanks to the person that hooked me up with one of these. I won’t reveal who it is for security purposes but that person knows how thankful I am.

ON THE RIVERBED

Sorry about the delay between posts people. I’ve been out and about traveling and haven’t had the time to update my blog. Here are some photos from Leah’s Christening reception. It was held at a really nice spot overviewing a lake. We filled up the entire room and got to hang out and eat some great food.
Here’s my artistic shot of the day. Ha Ha Not very good but I made an attempt. LOL

This is a panoramic view from the deck leading into the reception room. The view of this place was really nice. Some of the houses that are adjacent to the lake look amazing. If only I had the money!
Here I am with my traditonal tourist look. It was a bit cold outside but the day was perfect.
I come from a very artistic family if you haven’t noticed. My Ate Ay in Virginia made these flowers as favors for the guests. They came out really nice. I wish I got a shot of the centerpieces which were a 400% model of these figures.
Leah’s Christening cake. They get their cakes done by a really nice Filipino family. I’ve seen some of her work with cakes and they’re amazing. I swear some of the cakes can be featured on Food Network’s Ace of Cakes. My Ate Ay makes cakes as well. I wish I had a picture of Will’s cake from a few years ago. Amazing.
This was Ate Myla’s idea. Seriously, I don’t promote underage drinking. :)
Maddie was having fun that day. She had a bunch of playmates at the reception.

More to come real soon. It’s saddening to be leaving but I’ll be back. Hopefully my homie CHIEF WILL can fund my ticket for December so I can attend Maddie’s 3rd Birthday. :)

MEET THE GODPARENTS

After an exhausting two days, I arrived in the East Coast at 8:45 AM on Sunday. I was selected to be the Godparent of my cousins newly born baby and had to be at the church by 9:45 AM. Cutting it a bit close, right? That’s how we roll! LOL Anyways, I went straight to the church from the airport and got there by 9:30 AM. Thank God my flight wasn’t delayed.
15 minutes later and the parents arrived to help prep for the baptism. The guy in the brown was working with the church and briefed us with what we had to do.

Overall, what an experience to be a part of. I’m very humbled that they would choose me to be the Godparent of Leah. I got to see some relatives that I haven’t for awhile so that was great too. LEAVING ON A JET PLANE, DON’T KNOW WHEN…

As this entry is posted, I’ll be taking off of San Diego Lindbergh Field for a few days. I had to pack my stuff yesterday since I didn’t have time today. Bon Voyage my blogmates. Since I don’t currently have a laptop (Stevie…PLEASE RELEASE THE MAC TABLET!), I’ll try to find a nearby computer to update my blog as regularly as possible. I’ll be back before Halloween. TRICK OR TREAT!

THE LAST DANCE

If you’ve seen me in the past few months, chances are you’ve seen me wearing these shoes. I kind of use them as my daily beater when I want to wear white shoes. I wanted to get some Cons but the white pair was TOO WHITE but that’s a different story. Anyhow, I’m going on a small trip and I ended up cleaning these one last time before they hit the dump trucks.

They look a lot worse in person. It’s pretty gross. I think the last time I wore these was at an outdoor party, hence the grass stains.
More dirt. Even the soles are dirty. I’ve only had this pair for about 4-5 months.
Vans don’t last that long folks. I guess you get what you pay for!

THANKS JOE!

I got a pleasant surprise last weekend when I received these sunglasses from Joe! He said he would hook me up with a pair and I was pretty surprised that they came so fast. Here’s the box.

All the accessories that come with it. Two carrying cases, some stickers, and the care manual.
There are SO MANY different colorways out there. I thought that the clear ones would be pretty cool. It kind of gives me that James Worthy steez when rocking. LOL
I’m real happy with these! The fit is super nice. I’m happy to add these with the other collection of sunglasses that I own. If you haven’t yet, grab a pair at your local skateshop, preferably Willy’s Workshop, San Diego!
Thanks again Joe! I love the pair! I got you if you need anything.

HAPPY JEEZY DAY!

After spending the day studying and being stuck in traffic, I was able to make it to Pacifica Del Mar for my homie RJ’s birthday dinner. I felt bad because I was running a little late due to traffic (someone stopped in the middle of the 15 freeway to pick up his hat that flew off). Anyhow, I made it about 10 minutes late and was able to make it with plenty of time.

Pacifica Del Mar is one of my favorite places to go in San Diego for seafood. I’ve been here a few times before for special occasions. It’s got a perfect view of the Pacific Ocean. Here are some crab cakes that were ordered for appetizer.
Some mussels to make you stronger. YUM! These were really good.
And for my main entree, I ended up ordering the sea bass. It was my first time getting it and a few of the waiters were telling me that it was their favorite. After having it, I’d have to say it was my favorite fish dish to date. The fish was cooked perfectly and the coconut curry sauce is TO DIE FOR. It’s ok. You can be jealous. :P
Here I am with the loving couple. Happy Belated Anniversary to you guys as well! I tried to go with the traditional vintage Philippines pose to represent for my homies back home.
Say CHEESE! Hanging out with RJ, Em and family. Also with RJ’s sister Jann and close friend April! Great night! The wine was DELISH! So was the CREME BRULEE!!!
Happy Birthday Mang! I know next year is THE BIG ONE!!! Gotta do it like KIDS PARTY ROUND 2! Hope you have many more birthdays to come! Thanks for a GREAT NIGHT!

FIRST GIG

I was hired to do a photo gig for the first time last night. After a rocky start, I started to get a hang of getting the pictures set up. I had no clue that the party was going to be held outdoors so I was a little unprepared. It all came together though in the end. Hopefully, I’ll get some more paying jobs that will help fund more lenses. Happy Birthday Aileen! This is one of the CRAZIEST families I’ve ever met.
