Product review:
I purchased the new iPhone 3G S on launch day which is customary to me. As usual, I queue up in the morning to beat the early rush, activate, and go to work on it. Aesthetically, you will not find any difference to that of the 3G iPhone. All the similarities stop there.
Once you start up the phone, you will not a huge difference in startup time. My 3G version would take upwards to about a minute while this one starts up in about 20 seconds. You may not know but the S in the title stands for SPEED and in that this new version FLOURISHES. Opening and going in and out of applications is a breeze with the latest version. They use an upgraded 600MHz processor updated from a 400MHz of the 3G version. The difference is like night and day. For someone that uses their phone as much as I do, the speed in itself is worth the upgrade.
There are some nice new features in the phone such as the video capabilities, the compass, and voice control all of which are nice nifty upgrades to the previous version. The new 3G S is also Nike+ compatible which was a welcomed feature to me as I sold my iPod nano a few months back.
All in all, in my experience I believe that the upgrade was more significant from the 3G to 3G S than it was from the original iPhone to the 3G. The speed of the phone and overall “snappiness” as one of my relatives loves to say is really the bread and butter of the phone. No more lag times when opening an application up such as facebook or twitter. These programs launch almost immediately as you push the button. It’s a worthy upgrade in my opinion. If you are eligible and it fits in your budget, I suggest picking up a 3G S in the near future. They are available at all Apple Retail Stores as well as AT&T corporate stores. Hopefully it will release at all Globe Philippines locations for all my kababayans in near future.

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

If you don’t recall, my very first post was recorded back on May 26, 2008 titled “LEGOLAND,” which featured pictures from when I went with the Cortez Family to the nearby theme park. I’ve had a lot of support regarding the website, even spurring on others (many to the right) to create their own personal blogs.
The past year I’ve been on the fence many times on whether or not I should continue the site, but it’s remained to this day. At first loved it, then hated it, and now I’ve actually grown to like it. I recently renewed the domain name so it should be up for another year. Like the old Jordan* days, let’s take this thing year by year.
As I was reminiscing on the past year with regards to the website, I’ve come up with the Top 10 interesting things about Pralines ‘N Cream. Enjoy!
THE TOP 10
1. I’ve only told a total of 12 people about my website, about 85% of that was family. Consequently, I get on average total of about 100 unique hits per day.
2. I closed my website down for a little over a month and started a new one. Would you believe that I still have the older posts prior to reopening? I think only two people know where they’re at. If you are one of the two….shhhhhhhhh.
3. I LOVE the media side that comes with managing the website. If you’ve noticed, I shoot lots of video and launched PNCTV as a result of that.
4. The name Pralines ‘N Cream came from metaphors that associated with the words. Praline pecans are considered healthy by many so it kind of signified health. I was way overweight and this past year I trimmed down from obese to overweight. Within the next three months, I should be down to regular weight. Cream has often times been referred to as riches. To me riches is in the family and close friends. And in that I feel like I am very rich.
5. I haven’t updated my Nike Plus jogs in over a month. Reason being is that I sold my iPod nano. The new iPhone 3GS comes with Nike Plus integration so I should be back to updating that daily.
6. More than half of my web viewers are international. From all over the globe as well. Europe, Philippines, Canada, Dubai, etc. etc.
7. I’ve gone through FOUR different cameras since opening the website. (Canon G9, Canon G10, Leica D-Lux 3, and Canon 5D Mark II)
8. I try to update my website at least four or five times a week. The fact that I find something interesting going on in my life that often is beyond me.
9. If you haven’t noticed, I almost ALWAYS update my website at 4:23 AM or PM as of late. It’s kind of a tradition now. I’ll tell you why during the 2 year anniversary party. 
10. Last but not least, I just want to thank everyone for the support. I get a lot of people telling me that they check my site daily, which is flattering. Thanks for the continued support and keep tuning in. Here’s to another year of health and riches.

Just got this as a gift from Willy. SALAMAT PARE! What a great gift in time to celebrate THE LAKERS WINNING THE 2009 NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!
I’ve been getting harassed by Jimmy (MtnHouse Aguilars) and Lakan (Burger Machine) all playoff season when the Lakers lose. I’d get an email for example with JR Smith doing some sort of crip walk or Ron Artest showing Kobe his “sugat” on his tongue from getting supposedly “elbowed” in the jaw. How do you guys like it now? HAHA
