DA BULLS
Posted in SCOTTIE PIPPEN on February 27, 2009 by pralinesncreamMy two favorite teams in the NBA are the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. As a Bulls fan, I have to give my condolences to Norm Van Lier and Johnny Red Kerr, whom I grew up listening to on the WGN Network.
I saw this video on ESPN featuring Scottie Pippen who was one of my favorite players ever. Check out what Pip has to say about the current NBA, whose better between Kobe and LeBron
, and who would win in a 2 on 2 game between Mike and Pip vs. KB24 and LBJ.
WHICH H20 IS MINE?
Posted in WATER on February 27, 2009 by pralinesncreamI found this interesting when I was at the gym at lunchtime today. Apparently, Costco offers their Kirkland Signature brand water with a place to tag your name on the label. I guess that prevents a lot of confusion during sport activities when people have their bottled waters scattered around the bench.

Posted in JIMMY, JIMMY LOVES APPLE, TOP SITES on February 25, 2009 by pralinesncreamI downloaded the latest Safari 4 Beta from the Apple website and saw a cool new feature. It’s called TOP SITES and it shows the sites that you frequent all on one page. Click the preview of the website that you want to see and off you go. Check out how my TOP SITES looks like. Click on the photo for a bigger picture. Notice there’s a star on the top right of the browser. That indicates that there was a new update from the last time you accessed your TOP SITES page. It’s a pretty cool feature that reminds me of RSS feed updates. If you haven’t yet, you can download the browser free of charge on Apple.com. Windows users are welcomed as well.

LENT PREPARATION
Posted in FOOD, LENT on February 25, 2009 by pralinesncreamFor Lent this year, I decided to make it hard for myself and give up three things that I eat or drink at least a few times a week. I’m giving up meats, rice, and soda. That leaves me with only fishes, vegetables, and water to down on a daily basis. It’s going to be hard especially with the no rice or meat scenario but I’m up for the challenge. I made a solid effort to enjoy the day with the things I will not taste for the next 40+ days. Here’s to my lunch. I’ll see you on Easter Sunday.
